Three must-see Temples in Bangkok

Excellent tour of the most wonderful temples with an engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who was passionate about her culture. Our guide poppy was very adaptable, changing our itinerary as we had already visited one of the temples the day before on another tour. Having an air conditioned car to drive between temples was certainly worthwhile given the heat and humidity.

Poppy was a wonderful guide who was able to impart not just information but gave insight into Thai culture and the importance of Buddhism in every day life. She was organised and yet adaptable. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day with Poppy and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to discover the sights and culture of Bangkok.

Pop is one of the most wonderful guide I have met. She has deep knowledge of all the places she took us to Grand palace, sleeping Buddha and standing Buddha. She looks after her guests very well and giving tips of all the local places to visit for food and shopping as well. The whole tour was great because of her. I highly recommend this tour with Pop

I am finally doing this review, which is long overdue. I would 1st like to say a big thank you to the lovely Katie for being the next tour guide in Bangkok. My partner unfortunately was very sick on the day, and she managed to tailor the trip to our circumstances. We saw the Grand Palace, ate some food from a traditional Thai restaurant, whilst taking a tour the Khlong river boat tour and then ending up with a nice massage at the Wat Pho traditional massage school. I was extremely impressed with Katie’s knowledge, kindness and gentle nature. She is truly one of a kind. She made the tour (taking public transport) so interesting and easy to move around the city. She even suggested some traditional Thai medicine to assist with my partners health. She was just amazing, so amazing that we will be taking the same tour when we visit in August this year. As there was much we missed out that I hope to do this time round. I’m super excited to do this again. If you are coming to Bangkok and need a completely day city tour, YOU MUST BOOK THIS TOUR IMMEDIATELY! You will not regret this decision, lots of lovely memories with Katie on this tour. My wife and I went on this tour today and we would highly recommend it to anyone that’s thinking of seeing the temples. Private tour and car with aircon which is a must after walking around in the heat, worth every cent. Our guide Tip was so lovely, friendly and knowledgeable and made our day very enjoyable! Wonderful tour with Lily who is very knowledgeable, fun and flexible. If you can ask for Lily! We saw Wat's all over Bangkok, learned their history, significance and relationships. Our driver did a great job managing the Bangkok traffic. Highly recommended way to learn about Thailand and its history, religious perspectives and wonderful people - and doing it in a private tour and air-conditioned van is so much easier and more pleasant

I had an fantastic day exploring the three must-see temples in Bangkok with Katie as my private guide. I booked a private tour with my friend to see the temples in Bangkok. Katie, our guide, messaged us the day before to let us know what to expect. She even suggested we meet earlier to avoid the heat and crowds, which we appreciated. Katie and our assigned driver showed up to our hotel early and laid out the plan for the day. In addition to giving us information on the temples we visited, Katie gave us lots of other helpful tidbits about the city and Thai culture. She was enthusiastic and hardworking. You can tell she loves what she does! As an added bonus, she took lots of photos for us!

I had the best day out with Som. My first solo trip to Bangkok and Som made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend going with a private guide as she knew exactly where to go and very knowledgeable. Also, it was no issue at all to adapt the tour slightly to add in a boat trip for me.

We had the BEST and busiest day with Pop “Poppy” as our tour guide! We went all around Bangkok to see the beautiful temples and palaces such as The Grand Palace, Wat Arum, reclining Buddha and more, as well as stops for snacks, lunch and Chinatown and ended the day with an amazing river tour. We received lots of great photos all day as well. Would definitely recommend this tour, and specifically Poppy!

This day was the best of our trip to Thailand. We were in Bangkok for only 2 days and wanted to see as much as possible without hassle. Our guide was great, very friendly and gave us very good information. The kids loved it and so did we! We had a very comfortable van just for us which transported us all day between the magnificent temples. Our guide took lots of photos, we were lucky we also had a private photographer! I highly recommend this tour. We all loved it, an unforgettable day... If you want to visit Bangkok with your children, this is really the best option I assure you. Without our guide, with the traffic, the crowds of people and the heat, it would never have been possible to see so many. Thank you a thousand times Nok Kob kun kaaa

Alex was excellent / very knowledgeable. Saw the magnificent Palace and then the main temples. She wove some surprises in - Flower Market, a boat crossing and a nice authentic lunch. Bravo. V good trip

Bangkok first timers and we are so happy we booked this tour. The booking was easy, the service was excelent and we learned so much from our guide Alex who was so knowledgable and kind. She always answered our many questions with a smile, she showed us the best spots for pictures to avoid the crowds and she always went a long way to make sure we were having a great experience. There is no way we could've done this on our own and ended up learning so much about Thailand's culture. Seriously, look no further, if you want a great temples experience this is your tour! My family went on a temple tour with Guide Katie. She arrived at our hotel and was kind enough to know the best public transportation to take based off the time of day and day of the week. She was very thorough with her details and describing how each temple we visited. She answered all our questions and even double checked with each try gate if our 6 year old would have to pay the entry fee (he was free at each one). As traveling with children often is unpredictable Katie was always willing to ask if we needed a break, needed the restroom, and needed to speed up or slow down depending on our needs. She was very knowledgable and we appreciated her willingness to teach us, help us, and offer the kind friendly Thai culture with us.

Great day out seeing the most famous landmarks in Bangkok. Nok was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable. It was a great experience. I would recommend it.

Nok is lovely, friendly and instantly made us feel welcome to Thailand! She met us at our hotel early and in the space of 5 hours we managed to visit the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Arun, and Wat Pho and the reclining Buddha (which were the highlights we really wanted to see above all else). Her knowledge of Bangkok allowed her to manage our time effectively, while also ensuring we saw all that we wanted to see without ever feeling rushed or time pressured. This was our first time in Bangkok and we had limited time in the city. She also managed to take us to Golden Mount Temple as an extra stop and used different modes of transport to take us between locations, which included a boat trip along the river that allowed us to see more of the city from a different perspective. Not only is Nok charismatic and informative but it felt as if we were being shown around by a friend. She also took lots of photos of us at all the points of interest and sent them to us after our tour, which we really appreciated. She captured beautiful memories which we will treasure for a lifetime. We learnt a lot about Bangkok and it’s history and about Thai culture - she even taught us some Thai phrases which we used throughout the rest of our travels around Thailand and sent them to us so we wouldn’t forget them. At the end of our tour Nok took us back to our hotel, in time for our food tour later that evening. I really recommend Nok as we found it invaluable having a local tour guide show us the main points of interest in Bangkok. We definitely would not have managed to see and do so much in the time we had by ourselves and would have struggled to find our bearings and get around the city so quickly without her. Khob Khun Kha!
