She met us at our hotel early and in the space of 5 hours we managed to visit the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Arun, and Wat Pho and the reclining Buddha (which were the highlights we really wanted to see above all else). Her knowledge of Bangkok allowed her to manage our time effectively, while also ensuring we saw all that we wanted to see without ever feeling rushed or time pressured. This was our first time in Bangkok and we had limited time in the city. She also managed to take us to Golden Mount Temple as an extra stop and used different modes of transport to take us between locations, which included a boat trip along the river that allowed us to see more of the city from a different perspective. Not only is Nok charismatic and informative but it felt as if we were being shown around by a friend. She also took lots of photos of us at all the points of interest and sent them to us after our tour, which we really appreciated. She captured beautiful memories which we will treasure for a lifetime. We learnt a lot about Bangkok and it’s history and about Thai culture - she even taught us some Thai phrases which we used throughout the rest of our travels around Thailand and sent them to us so we wouldn’t forget them. At the end of our tour Nok took us back to our hotel, in time for our food tour later that evening. I really recommend Nok as we found it invaluable having a local tour guide show us the main points of interest in Bangkok. We definitely would not have managed to see and do so much in the time we had by ourselves and would have struggled to find our bearings and get around the city so quickly without her.
